The Cycle
Partnership: Her Light Foundation
Duration: August 23, 2026 | 11am to 12pm (EST)
The purpose of this event is to discuss the carbon cost of menstrual hygiene products and empower the transition to sustainable menstrual products. Almost 20 billion tampons and pads are dumped into the North American landfill each year. These products are generally filled with plastic and cotton, meaning that it takes a single tampon/pad over 500 to 800 years to fully break down! Additionally, this poses significant health concerns due to presences of chemical and plastics. Hence, through this webinar, we will dive deeper into the environmental cost of such pollution, potent health risks, healthy meal options that can help restore balance, and sustainable options!

Photography Challenge
Partnership: Climate Kills Initiative
Duration: 1 month |
The purpose of this challenge is to inspire participants to build a stronger connection with nature and recognize that environmental conservation begins with observation, education, and appreciation.Through weekly themes, participants will learn about the vital roles that wildlife, trees, water, and biodiversity play in maintaining healthy ecosystems. By sharing their photographs and educational captions, they will not only expand their own knowledge but also help raise awareness within their communities, encouraging others to value and protect nature. This program demonstrates that even small acts of learning and advocacy can contribute to meaningful environmental care.
